Yes… I actually discovered this feature today. Very convenience especially when troubleshooting computer issues remotely. Not sure how latency affects mouse movement on the screen between machines.
Technology + Education = Headache

Patience? That is what I am starting to have short of. Especially, on the eve of the release of Win7. Here is my issue.
As we all may compatibility issues in the coming months especially if you finally decide to finally upgrade from WinXP, Win2003, Win2000, Win98, WinME, WinNT, or even Win3.1. However, with the mission critical applications that I use in the classroom, I cannot afford compatibility issues.
Pressure needs to be placed on educational software developers to ensure the reliability of their products through OS upgrades by immediately producing software upgrades/patches without drama to help with the growing pains. What drama am I referring to? That will have to be in another blog post…

This weekend I picked up a few things from the teacher store in preparation of the 1st day of school. I passed by and ended up picking up this cool Unifix Sudoku game. As you can see, when I got home, I ended up placing the blocks in ROY G. BIV order and numbered the tops to match.
I also created a Smart Notebook file to go with this activity when modelling the activity with my students. This is a great hands-on activity for students of any age that has never played Sudoku. The purpose for placing the numbers on the cubes is for you to create your own puzzles with the help of online resources such as ultra-magnificent logic puzzle site of Vegard Hanssen. I will post later reflecting what the students thought about this game.
Blog Back in Action

Since the summer is over for the most of us teachers, I guess that it is time for Mr. R to get back on the grind with his blog. I hate that I have sat on a lot of info. However, if I can remember, I will kick out whatever I’ve ran across that’s worthy of discussion. Shalom!
